E-health and AAL (Ambient Assisted Living)
Age-appropriate assistance systems for a healthy and independent life
Ontaris develops individual software and technologies with a focus on AAL (Ambient Assisted Living) and Healthcare (E-Health) and has implemented AAL technology projects at an early stage. We have a great deal of experience in the use of human-technology interaction (MTI) solutions for the healthcare sector. With the pen technology EasyPen we developed systems for monitoring diabetes and coagulation patients, for the project “Netzwerk Kinderzukunft” the risk inventory and case management, in the BMBF funded project Service4home we developed the technical infrastructure and in the joint project ProWAAL we created the module “Technologies and Applications” for Ambient Assisted Living. Since its foundation Ontaris has been a partner of the AAL Academy and continuously offers further training courses within the framework of the exploitation of the project results.
We developed and operate a case and care management system for the HerzNetzCenter Köln. This cross-sectoral patient and care management represents a coordination and support platform that complements conventional structures. The cornerstones of this strategy and implementation are patient proximity, individualisation, regionality, transparency, sustainability and quality.
We are currently coordinating a training concept against dementia with the go4cognition funding project, which uses a combination of physical and mental training to improve motor and cognitive skills.
